The description of Blockberry is pretty accurate, although a few of my impressions were a little different. If you’re hanging out with friends and everyone starts pulling out their stash, don’t be surprised if yours becomes the one everyone wants to check out.
The buds are dense with just a little bit of sponge to them, making them feel fresh and well-cured. Mine had a nice mix of large, chunky buds and medium-sized ones. Visually, Blockberry is a beauty, with sweet dark olive green and deep purple hues covered in dark ginger pistils that really make the colours pop.
The aroma is one of this strains biggest highlights. It’s exactly what you’d wish a fresh fruit bouquet smelled like. The citrus notes hit you immediately when you open the bag, filling the room with a sweet, bold, and incredibly inviting scent that keeps drawing you back for another smell.
Through a bong, Blockberry is an absolute pleasure. Even large bowls are unbelievably smooth with very little harshness, making it easy to keep loading another hit. That’s also where this strain can catch you off guard. Because it’s so smooth, it’s easy to smoke more than you intended, and the potency creeps up fast. Before you know it, Blockberry has you completely on your ass. I kept taking bong hits because they went down so easily, and the next thing I knew I woke up on the couch the next morning, completely disoriented and wondering when I had passed out.
If you’re looking for a flavourful, smooth-smoking strain with serious knockout power, Blockberry definitely lives up to the hype. Just don’t let its smoothness fool you—it packs a punch.
