Extending the Battery Life of Your Vape Pen
- Switch Off Batteries After Use
A common mistake is to leave your vape pen alone when not in use in the belief that it is not using power. In fact, as long as it is still powered on, it is using energy. While some models have an auto-shutoff feature, others take 10-20 minutes for it to kick in. - Use Batteries Regularly
As is the case with a Smartphone battery, the battery in your vape pen functions more efficiently when used regularly. When you leave a battery alone for long periods, it slowly loses power. Even a handful of puffs a day can help extend the run time of your battery. - Don’t Overcharge
Another basic mistake is to allow your vape pen to charge overnight. Your battery gets damaged when you allow it to continue charging when the device is already at 100%. - Don’t Allow Your Battery to go Down to 0%
It takes less energy to recharge a battery when it is not fully drained than when it is down to zero. The lower a battery’s level gets the more energy needed to charge it. Aim to charge your device when its power level dips below 50%. - Clean Your Battery
A vape pen’s battery can occasionally get dirty. Remember, it will sometimes be subjected to oil spills, not to mention wear and tear. When a battery gets dirty, its connection to the vape device itself gets weaker. As a result, the battery needs to work harder to produce the amount of power required for a good hit. When the battery works harder, its lifespan decreases, and it also drains faster.

I’ve been through three of these pens within a bit over a year (always bundled them with a pegasus cart for the $9.99 sale price when I needed a new one) I think the batteries are poorly made because in my experience they stop hitting properly or at all after a couple months of use and are prone to damaging carts, causing leakage, and spitting oil that burns my mouth due to overheating I think 🙁 I’ve used other pen batteries in the past and never had to replace them as frequently as I have this one. Love this company though just wish they had better quality pens and want to make sure others are aware!

IDK how long I’ve had my Phantom Vape kit. I bought it when I bought one of those big vials of Honey oil. I think it’s a great Vape battery. It has a feature that you shouldn’t use and probably causing the issues another reviewer talked about. Pressing the button twice and getting it to flash blue is supposed to Prime it up (preheat the oil) for 10 seconds. I used this and started having all the issues he talks about. It clogs your cartridge & getting burning bits of oil in your mouth. Point is, don’t use the preheat feature & this battery works perfect when running on red. I love the compact size of this battery.
